With proper technique, Olympic lifts teach one to apply force from the center of the body outward (i.e. core to extremity). The Snatch, and the Clean and Jerk bring speed, power, coordination, agility, accuracy and balance to your strength training. Performing these movements efficiently through proper technique increases an athlete’s ability to both improve performance and avoid injury.
Seminar Highlights:
No previous experience with the Olympic lifts is required, but attendees should be reasonably experienced with basic powerlifts such as the squats, presses, and deadlift. Those with injuries or other health limitations may attend without participation in the practical portions of the seminar. Come learn these lifts with one of the very best in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. ______________________________________________________
